Research Interest

My research interests are in the fields of bioconversion of renewable bioresources, agricultural, natural occurring polymers and waste into sustainable functional materials in order to develop more sustainable materials to current BCG model and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Recently, more researches have been focused on chemicals and advanced materials, including metal-organic frameworks (MOF), carbon-and bio-based materials for carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) and also membranes based on bio-composite materials for use in specific applications such as water purification, desalination, energy storage and gas separation.
